"DON'T STRIDE" - An Exhibition of Paintings and Installations
DON'T STRIDE PART 1 - 22 July TO 26 July
DON'T STRIDE PART 2 - 28 July TO 1 August

ARTIST STATEMENT

This show is based on thoughts which occurred to me, through my interactions within my way of life. They have helped me gain a meaningful foothold through the exhausting layers of our human condition. The works have been divided into groups of three based on these thoughts, as they are separately conceived at different times, in different spaces and contexts.

The first part of the show describes a period where I started accepting everything positively even things which lay stagnant in and around me. I did this with intimacy and through understanding and accepting my way of life. What was not there with me or around me, I attempted to see it through its absurdity and without existing emotion.

In the second part of the show describes my thoughts as I began to see the innocence scattered around in multiple ways, each multiplicity leading to multiplication of thought expressed in a state of duality.
